Richard Eidlin |

Richard has been at the center of sustainability and clean energy policy issues for over twenty-five years. During that time, he has worked in the public, private and non-profit sector at the global, national and local level. His firm, The Progress Group, specializes in building multistakeholder partnerships on clean energy and economic development initiatives. He has worked for the United Nations Environment Programme and New York City government; consulted to CH2MHill and the World Bank; taught at BostonCollege’s Center for Corporate Citizenship and DenverUniversity and helped to found New Hampshire Business for Social Responsibility and the Community Capital Bank in New York City. Richard attended the 1992 Earth Summit in Brazil.
As a veteran in the environmental and renewable energy industries, Richard served as National Business Outreach Director for the Apollo Alliance; consulted to Earth Day USA and has been an officer in several national solar energy companies. He currently consults to the Denver based solar energy firm, SolSource. Active in politics for years, Richard co-directed the Colorado Clean Tech for Obama campaign and advised candidate (and now Colorado Governor) Bill Ritter on renewable energy issues in 2006. Richard earned a Bachelors in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland and a Masters in Public Policy from the University of Wisconsin.
Dr. Dick Franklin
A proven executive that has held the position of CEO, COO, CMO and CSO across six different companies ranging from Multi-Billion Dollar businesses to I.T. start-ups. He has dealt with every conceivable business challenge from iconic competitors to global launches, re-branding, celebrity spoke persons and product line extensions.
Dr. Franklin’s expertise is in strategic planning, futuristic visioning and creative positioning for optimal competitive advantage and long term growth. His passion is in applying his extensive experience to assist professionals in vetting through the chaotic quagmire of career decision making choices with real world scenarios.
He also consults for corporations and non profits regarding eco-strategies and enviro- branding. He believes that true success means not only maximizing one’s abilities and passions against the right career choice but also driving sustainable business modeling to help your self actualization soar even higher.

Bob Helmuth |

Mr. Helmuth joined Pax World Management Corp. in 2001. He is based in Boulder County in Colorado. Prior to joining the company, he served in marketing management positions with companies in the cable television industry, including ESPN, Daniels & Associates, Cablevision Industries and most recently Starz Media Group. Mr. Helmuth is a graduate of Colgate University (BA) and holds a Master of Science degree in Public Communication from Boston University.
Ben HuberBen Huber is a transactional attorney who counsels a broad range of domestic and foreign clients, including start-ups, middle-market companies and Fortune 500 corporations as well as venture funds and institutional investors. Ben's practice focuses on complex mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and reorganizations, corporate finance, capital markets, venture funds, commercial transactions, and general corporate law. As counsel to several high tech businesses, Ben also has extensive experience in the development and protection of intellectual property and technology licensing.

Christopher Juniper
Christopher Juniper is vice-president of Natural Capitalism Solutions where he develops tools and implements sustainability solutions for organizations and governments. He is an economist by training and economic development manager, small business developer and consultant by profession. His "first" include the first major city in the US to adopt sustainable development in its economic development strategy as Policy Manager for the City of Portland, OR (1994); first US implementation of a sustainability-integrated environmental management system (1998) and first comprehensive corporate life-cycle assessment (Cliff Bar & Co., 2006).
For the past ten years he has served Rocky Mountain Institute, the Catamount Institute and Natural Capitalism Solutions as a sustainability consultant and speaker, and served his alma mater The Colorado College as a visiting professor of ecological economics. Since 2002 he has served on the sustainaility implementation team of Fort Carson Mountain Post, a US Army installation of more than 20,000 soldiers and civilians that is a leader for the Department of Defence in integration of sustainability into its management systems and through partnerships around the region for training, planning, and adoption of sustainability indicators.
Chris is also co-director of the Sustainability Leadership Institute, and a member of the Technical Advisory Group of Colorado Springs Utilities in Colorado Springs.
K.J. McCorry
K.J. McCorry is the CEO of Officiency Enterprises. She has been an avid environmentalist for over 25 years cultivating sustainability within her own personal and professional lives. For the past 12 years, K.J. has served as one of the leading efficiency and productivity consultants for companies, government agencies and non-profit organizations. Her work has been committed to streamlining processes to not only create efficiency but also sustainability. She is the author of Organize Your Work Day In No Time.
K.J. has served on multiple non-profit boards committed to social and environmental responsibility, holding positions including Director of Businesses for Social Responsibility- Colorado Chapter ; Past President and founding member of P3: People, Planet Profits; and Treasurer for Extras for Education.
K.J. received her BA in Psychology and International Business from Metropolitan State College in Denver, Colorado and her MBA from the University of Denver, now ranked as one of the top business schools in business ethics according to the Wall Street Journal, 2007.
Carolyn McIntosh
Carolyn McIntosh counsels clients on complex environmental compliance and environmental and natural resources litigation.
Ms. McIntosh has extensive experience handling compliance and permitting matters, including air permitting for waste management companies, Clean Water Act permitting issues for the Department of Energy's Hanford installation, training and remediation strategies at other DOE complex facilities including Rocky Flats and OakRidge, and hazardous waste and solid waste permitting for local governments and the waste management industry. Ms. McIntosh has represented the City and County of Denver, and the States of Colorado and Montana in major Superfund litigation and environmental compliance matters, including Lowry Landfill, the Denver Radium Sites and Uravan. She also regularly provides environmental due diligence counseling.
Previously, Ms. McIntosh served as an assistant attorney general for the State of Colorado for Superfund and hazardous waste management and as a special assistant attorney general to the State of Montana, implementing its Superfund program.
Ms. McIntosh has also served on a number of local government boards and commissions, including 12 years on the Lafayette City Council, the last four years of which she served as the Mayor of Lafayette. Ms. McIntosh served for three years on the Boulder County Long Range Planning Commission, and for four years she participated in the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District. Additionally, for 10 years Ms. McIntosh served on the Denver Regional Council of Governments Board, and served for four years on the Metro Mayor’s Council. She was also a founding member of the Northwest Parkway Public Highway Authority. Ms. McIntosh continues to work with Colorado local governments on planning, transportation, and appropriations issues.
Jeffrey Nathanson
Jeffrey Nathanson is the Executive Director of Business Development at National Jewish Medical and Research Center. Mr. Nathanson is responsible for the management and growth of the National Jewish New Business Opportunities Unit within the Health Initiatives Department. He is charged with the development of new health-oriented revenue-generating business opportunities provided by National Jewish staff in their laboratories, clinical and call centers; to financially support some of its leading edge clinical activities and medical research.
Mr. Nathanson previously served as President and CEO of BioLogixs in Denver, Executive Director for Colorado Bio-Medical and Technology Venture Centers, of Denver and Executive Director of the New Mexico Business Innovation Center Inc., in Albuquerque New Mexico. Jeffrey was one of the founders and early Board Members of the Colorado CleanTech Initiative and the Colorado Biotechnology Industry Organization and the Colorado Medical Device Association. He currently is a panelist for the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Industry Growth Forum.
Jeffrey holds a B.A. degree in Environmental Studies from the Univesity of California, Santa Barbara, and an M.S. Degree in Environmental Management and Communications, from the University of Michigan.
Matthew Rich
Matthew Rich has been working in the financial services industry for over 19 years and currently serves as a Senior Vice President at UBS. Matt's expertise includes assisting private and public companies with strategic planning, business development and exit strategies. Matt also has extensive experience in advising executives on how to obtain liquidity, reduce their tax exposure and manage their personal finances. Matt has funded and managed two financial services companies, possesses established relationships in the Venture Capital and Private Equity community and has advised Portfolio Managers from mutual fund and hedge funds. He sits on the board of directors of Boulder Soup Works and CORE and the board of advisors for the Boulder Jewis Day School, Facecake Marketing Technologies and Grooveshark. Prior to joining UBS, Matt was with Merrill Lynch, C.E. Unterberg Towbin, Kauser Capital and Thomas Weisel Partners.
Will Sarni
William Sarni is the Founder and CEO of Domani Consulting. He has more than 30 years of experience providing sustainability and environmental consulting services to private and public sector enterprises. He founded and currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of DOMANI – a consulting firm focused on providing innovative business and technical sustainability solutions to companies committed to increasing revenue, mitigating risk and improving operating efficiency. In business for more than 10 years, DOMANI’s diverse client list includes Fortune 500 companies, multinational corporations and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Notable clients include Alcoa, BASF, Cisco Systems, the Coca-Cola Company, Dean Foods, Del Monte, Estee Lauder Companies, Grosvenor, PEPCO, Pfizer Inc., Sodexo and the State of New Mexico.
Sarni is a nationally recognized thought leader on sustainability. He is a frequent lecturer on a range of sustainability issues and is a sustainable development contributor to a recently published book entitled Environmental Regulation of Colorado Real Property. Additionally, he authors editorial columns on sustainability and climate issues in both Venture magazine and Sustainable Life Media, and he writes a weekly blog where he comments on industry trends. Sarni’s upcoming book, Greening Brownfields: Remediation Through Sustainable Development, will be published by McGraw-Hill. He is also a member of the Environmental Compliance Committee of the Chicago Climate Exchange and active in the International Association of Hydrogeologists (IAH) and the Conference Board.
Jeff Yorzyk
Jeffrey Yorzyk has been on the CORE Board of Directors since its inception, and has been active in sustainable business initiatives in Colorado for over ten years. His professional focus is on the development and implementation of systematic approaches for continuous improvement and conducting quantitative environmental life cycle assessment (LCA) studies. As a consultant for Five Winds International, Jeff has been instrumental in facilitating ISO 14001 certification at Denver International Airport and the City and County of Denver. Jeff has also led numerous projects that allowed clients to quantify their product, process and facility “environmental footprint” and develop associated communications strategies and materials. Mr. Yorzyk is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Colorado, holds an MBA from the University of Colorado at Boulder Leeds School of Business, an MS in Environmental Science & Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Lafayette College. Originally hailing from Massachusetts, Jeff has lived and worked in the Denver region since 1994 and enjoys hiking, running, snowshoeing, wilderness backpacking trips and motorcycle touring.
