 Arunas Chesonis
Founder, Chairman & CEO
PaeTec Holding Corporation

CORE invites you to join us for an evening of networking and discussion featuring the founder and CEO of one of America's fastest growing technology companies, PaeTec Holding Corporation, a $1.6 billion (2008 revenues) telecommunications company based in Rochester, NY.

Light refreshments will be served together with Molosn Coors products.

Arunas A. Chesonis serves as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of PAETEC Holding Corp., and is responsible for the vision, leadership, and direction of the company.

In his interactive and lively discussions, Mr. Chesonis highlights the responsibility of corporations in leading environmental sustainability, and demonstrates how corporate responsibility and business success are intertwined today as never before. He is also the co-author of the business book, "It Isn’t Just Business, It’s Personal", highlighting how by following a handful of basic ethical principles, PAETEC has emerged as an example of how to succeed in the twenty-first century, not just in telecom, but in any industry.

Under the watch of Mr. Chesonis, PAETEC has achieved remarkable growth. Within five years of founding PAETEC in May 1998, Mr. Chesonis led the company to achieve the number two ranking in the 2003 Deloitte Fast 500 list of the fastest-growing public and private technology companies in North America. And in 2005, PAETEC received the national American Business Ethics Award sponsored by the Society for Financial Service Professionals.

In 2006, Mr. Chesonis assumed the Chair of the Advisory Committee for the Earth System Initiative (ESI) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. ESI serves as a model for interdisciplinary environmental research as it seeks to further an understanding of the interactions between Earth’s physical, chemical, and biological processes. In this role, Mr. Chesonis will help promote the work of ESI beyond the academic community and assist in raising ESI’s visibility.
