This invitation-only event on Thursday, July 9th, 2009 will be a top-level briefing on the initial results of the Colorado Cleantech Census and timely discussion of issues raised by participants in the survey.  The Cleantech Census is the first phase of the Colorado Cleantech Cluster Analysis organized by CORE and conducted by Evenson & Associates.

Representatives of cleantech companies, associations, and governmental agencies in ALL cleantech industry segments are strongly urged to participate in framing the discussion: Agriculture, Air and Environmental Quality, Energy Efficiency, Energy Generation, Energy Infrastructure, Energy Storage, Manufacturing and Industrial, Materials, Transportation, Recycling and Waste Treatment, Water and Waste Water.

We know your organization has a vested interest in the cleantech industry in Colorado. We hope you’ll take this opportunity to be a visible and ground-floor participant in the kick-off event of an ongoing process through which the industry itself—acting in concert—will drive development of a favorable environment for its growth and prosperity. At the Forum you will:

  1. Hear Andre Pettigrew, Executive Director, City of Denver Office of Economic Development, discuss the importance of cleantech to the process of building a more sustainable global economy. Watch this space for speaker name.
  2. Get a solid first look at findings of the Cleantech Census. Jane Evenson will present an overview of cleantech organizations in Colorado by segment and a synthesis of the important issues raised by these organizations in their written surveys.
  3. Participate in moderated focus groups with other cleantech industry members to begin framing the opportunities and challenges you face in developing your cleantech businesses in the state.
