SBIR Seminar
Hosted by SBIR Colorado and CORE
Join us on Wednesday, April 9, to learn how your business can receive funding for research from the Environmental Protection Agency or Department of Energy through the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program!
The SBIR program is the single largest source of early-stage funding ($2.2 billion annually) in the Unites States. 11 federal agencies participate in this program that provides funding for leading-edge high-risk research and development to small businesses with fewer than 500 employees. This is truly a small business early stage program to develop new marketable technology based products and services.
Phase I of the program provides up to $100,000 to prove feasibility of the idea. If successful, the small business can apply for phase II funding - up to $750,000 - that can be used for additional R&D, including prototype development.
Two SBIR Program Managers, Jim Gallup from the EPA and Larry James from the DOE, will be in Denver on April 9 to present their respective SBIR programs and provide an opportunity to discuss your ideas with them.
